Sharing is caring
With skincare too

That’s how the poem goes, right? Nothing brings people together more than sharing; it’s one of the first things we learn as little humans! We come together over our shared love of movies, food, music, products, workout classes… the list goes on. This is especially true when it comes to our romantic partners. Let’s be real – love for each other can only take you so far, and if you’re in it for the long haul, you need to have shared love for other things as well! A friend recently told me that she considered her boyfriend watching the next episode of Stranger Things without her as “worse than cheating,” and while that may be a bit extreme, I kind of get where she’s coming from. When you and your partner love doing something together, you never want to feel left behind, and skincare is no exception.

Sharing a skincare regimen with your partner is way more efficient, hello more cabinet space! If you and your partner live together, using the same products can help to clear up storage space and declutter your shelves. That’s why Romer launched the Romer Challenge this week, kicking off an initiative to help people simplify their skincare routine and get rid of the skincare products that don’t work and take up space in your bathroom. If you participate, maybe you and your partner will be the ones to win a year’s supply of the full Romer regimen. Sign me up!

Using the same skincare products is another opportunity for a couple to connect and bond over a shared love for something amazing. Sharing beauty secrets with your best friends brings you closer, and your partner can totally get in on the action! It’s one of the reasons Romer Skincare started! Romer’s fabulous founder, Lauren Rome (shout out!), and her fiancé, Barry, both struggled with their skin during the harsh Chicago winters and sharing the sink was stressful at times, until they found themselves reaching for the same moisturizers to help curb her breakouts and his dermatitis. Lauren became inspired to create a skincare line that catered to everyone so that we all can share the perfect 3-step regimen with the people we love the most. So if you’re looking for something to do this Valentine’s Day, text that special someone, “Romer Challenge & Chill?”.
